Ljubljana

Ljubljana is politically and culturally the heart of Slovenia, the national centre of commerce, business and education. Ljubljana is a city with rich tradition in sport. The Slovenian capital hosted the World Championship in table-tennis, weight-lifting, ice hockey, basketball and European Championship in handball.

Velenje

Velenje, with more than thirty thousand inhabitants is the centre of the Šalek Valley. Modern city, built in the period after the Second World War close to the old city centre under the Velenje castle.

Celje

Just before the river Savinja reaches the Sava river it is joined by its tributary the Voglajna. Near this confluence lies Celje, the third biggest town in Slovenia.

Koper

Situated at a latitude of 45o 32,5' North and at longitude 13 o 45,5' East, with a characteristic Mediterranean climate partly influenced by the continental interior. This is Koper with its mild winters and warm and dry summers.
